  This course is designed to guide learners through the fundamental features of AutoCount Accounting V2. At the end of the course, learners will be able to set up account books for new or existing companies, perform complete routine transaction entries, security and options setting, view and print reports, backup database, get familiarised with the flow of entire system, and be aware of available resources to explore other advanced features and modules. 

  1) Before starting this course, ensure that you have installed the AutoCount Accounting V2 software. 

  2) Refer AutoCount Resource Center (Wiki) for additional resources and information.

  Duration: Three (3) days

  Materials / Resources: Course book; 5th Edition (physical / e-book), videos, answer guide

  Method: Learning materials and hands on tasks

  Targeted Learners: This course is generally suitable for students of second or third year of Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Studies, Administrative and Entrepreneurship, International Trade and for working adults.

  Course Objectives: 

  • Understand and manage the setup of a new company
    Learn the essential steps for creating and configuring a new company in the system.

  • Master the General Ledger
    Gain proficiency in managing the general ledger, including chart of accounts, journal entries, and financial reporting.

  • Effectively manage Accounts Receivable
    Learn to track customer invoices, process payments, and manage outstanding balances.

  • Handle Accounts Payable efficiently
    Understand the process for managing supplier invoices, making payments, and tracking outstanding liabilities.

  • Navigate and manage an existing company setup
    Learn how to maintain and adjust settings for an existing company in the system.

  • Implement and manage Inventory Control
    Develop the skills to track inventory levels, manage stock movements, and perform inventory reconciliation.

  • Understand the Purchasing process
    Gain knowledge in managing supplier relationships, creating purchase orders, and processing goods receipt.

  • Manage the Invoicing process
    Learn how to create and process customer invoices, manage billing cycles, and ensure accurate accounting.

  • Oversee Project management and financial tracking
    Learn to track project costs, budgets, and revenues, integrating with other accounting processes.

  • Work with Multi-Currency transactions
    Understand how to manage financial transactions in multiple currencies, including currency conversion and exchange rate management.

  • Comprehend Manufacturing processes and financial implications
    Gain the ability to manage manufacturing operations, including cost tracking, production planning, and inventory management.

  • Understand Sales and Service Tax (SST) regulations
    Learn how to calculate and comply with Sales and Service Tax (SST) for both sales and purchases.
